TT_Engine

The 2.0 TFSI engine has been specially developed for the requirements of the TT. To attain 155 kW of power, the crank drive, cylinder head and inlet valves, among other things, have been modified.

In the TT Coupé, the 2.0 TFSI’s 155 kW will keep you on the move sportily and efficiently. This is ensured in part by the Audi valve lift system (AVS). It alters valve lift and hence reduces fuel consumption. Together with TFSI technology, this means that fuel can actively be saved whilst simultaneously increasing driving pleasure. With the TFSI engine, the fuel is injected into the combustion chambers in precise doses. There, the fuel evaporates, thereby cooling the intake air. This enables the compression ratio, and consequently engine efficiency, to be increased. This makes the TFSI engine a compact powerhoese and ensure exceptional power delivery.
